MATA encourages each member, in good standing,
to perform services and conduct business at the highest standards of
professionalism and ethics.
Join general aviation professionals who know it's
good business to be a member of a highly respected association. If you
have offices in Minnesota you are eligible to become a member.
If your company provides products or services to
general aviation businesses in Minnesota you may become an associate
member and enjoy many of the advantages of regular membership.
- Active Board
- Officers and directors are elected to serve
on the association board, and quarterly meetings are held to conduct
the business of the organizations. Special Meetings are convened should
a timely issue require immediate attention. Members are welcome to

- Aviation Directory
- MATA publishes a directory of the membership
and other pertinent aviation groups and governmental agencies for
distribution to members and interested persons or organizations requiring
a comprehensive source for Minnesota's industry professionals.
- Liaison Services
- MATA works closely with the Federal Aviation
Administration, Metropolitan Airports Commission, and the MN/DOT Office
of Aeronautics.
- Annual Conference
- MATA organizes an annual meeting, providing
nationally-known speakers and authorities. This is an opportunity
to meet with your peers and industry leaders.
- Newsletters
- A quarterly newsletter is sent to all members,
informing them of important and timely issues and events.
- Leadership
- MATA members are industry leaders providing
professional services and products for Minnesota general aviation.
- Professional Standards
- MATA encourages each member, in good standing,

- Legal Counsel
- Experienced aviation legal counsel is available
on important issues, including legislative actions.
- Lobbyists
- MATA is active with the Minnesota legislature.
In addition, our voice is heard in Washington, D.C. as an affiliate
member of the National Air Transportation Association.
- Scholarships
- MATA provides an annual scholarship to an individual
for a solo flight program to be provided by a MATA member flight school.
- Grants
- To foster industry growth, MATA provides annual
aviation related grants.
